nxTrain is built to stay simple: no account creation, no social profile, and no need to hand over more data than is necessary to fetch train times and keep your chosen commute setup working.
Your data
nxTrain stores your saved commutes, commute days, cached journey snapshots, and related setup locally so the iPhone app, iPhone widgets, and Apple Watch can stay in sync.
When you ask for live data, the app sends the station pair and timing window needed to fetch the departure data shown in the app.
If you enable notifications, nxTrain can create local disruption alerts on your iPhone based on the commute data it has already refreshed. Notification permission is optional and can be changed in iOS Settings.
If you contact support, your email and whatever details you include are used only to reply and investigate the issue you reported.
nxTrain does not require an account and is not designed around advertising or third-party analytics SDKs. If this policy changes in future, this page will be updated.
