Terms of Service

Last updated: 26 April 2026

nxTrain is a small independently developed utility. These terms are intentionally plain: the app should be useful, but it cannot guarantee that every train update, delay estimate, widget refresh, or notification will arrive on time.

Using the app

Use at your own discretion

By using nxTrain, you agree to use it at your own discretion and risk. The app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind.

Rail data comes from third parties

Departure times, delay estimates, cancellations, and platform information come from third-party rail data sources and can be incomplete, late, or inaccurate.

Notifications and iPhone widgets are best-effort

Background refresh, iPhone widgets, Apple Watch updates, and notifications depend on Apple system scheduling, network availability, and device permissions, so they may not update instantly or at all.

Direct journeys only

nxTrain focuses on direct commuter journeys. It is not a full route planner, ticketing service, or promise that every route variation will be covered.

The app author is not responsible for missed trains, missed notifications, service interruptions, or losses that result from app use. Support may be offered on a best-effort basis, and these terms may be updated by publishing a new version on this page.
